Spanish outfit Granada has tied up the signing of midfielder Carlos Martins from Benfica on a season-long loan.
Both parties have reached an agreement on the terms of the transfer, where the Portuguese giants will also continue to pay his wages, it has been reported.
"Carlos Martins is expected to arrived in Granada on Sunday morning," read a statement. "On Monday, he will be subjected to medical examinations and then join training with the group."
The move marks a return to Spain for Martins after spending the 2007-08 campaign at Recreativo, also on loan, and he will now look forward to the upcoming season with the La Liga newcomers.
