FULHAM - PREMIER LEAGUE COUNT DOWN

New signings– Boss Martin Jol has made some healthy acquisitions so far after completing the signings of Pajtim Kasami, Marcel Gecov and John Arne Riise. The latter has been a class act so far in Europe whilst the former looks to be a real prospect for the future.
Star performer in pre-season – Bobby Zamora has been impressive so far in pre-season although an injury to his hand may hamper his progress. Skipper Danny Murphy has also been fantastic and keeps the team ticking over.
Youngster watch – Full-back Matthew Briggs is expected to be given a chance to impress in the first-team this season with the club lacking full-backs.
Strengths – They have a fantastic team-spirit and are always difficult to beat at home. They also have a solid experienced defence and good options up-front.
Weaknesses – They lack quality in the midfield area and are too predictable away from home.
What they need – Two wingers and a central midfielder.
